The Omen Draw

what this is

A prophecy drawn before the session begins — it must come true by night's end. The players hear only the omen. The dungeon master alone may read the whisper, which tells what it truly means.

1. Choose — an omen for the table, or a party omen that binds the whole group.
2. Draw — read the prophecy aloud. Let it hang in the air.
3. Whisper — the DM peeks at the hidden meaning (no players looking!).
4. Fulfill — by session's end, the omen comes true. How it happens is up to the table.
